The Eurasian Economic Commission has extended the period of anti-dumping measures against seamless stainless steel pipes in China

According to the report, " On December 20,2024, the Internal Market Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement 2024 / 424 / AD27R1, In accordance with the Eurasian Economic Commission resolution No.145 as of December 17^th, 2024, it decides to extend the validity period of the current 15.50% anti-dumping duty to September 24^th, 2025 (inclusive).

On September 4,2018, the Eurasian Economic Union launched an anti-dumping investigation for seamless steel pipes originating from China. On September 17,2019, the Eurasian Economic Commission made a positive final ruling on the case, proposing an additional anti-dumping duty of 15.50% on the products involved. According to Eurasian Economic Commission Resolution No.218, the Eurasian Economic Union will impose 15.50% anti-dumping duties on Chinese seamless steel pipes from February 1,2020 to January 31,2025 with a validity of 5 years. On September 25,2024, the Eurasian Economic Commission launched the first sunset review investigation of the case. The product involved is a seamless corrosion-resistant stainless steel pipe with an external diameter of no more than 650 mm (including) and a circular cross section. The Eurasian Economic Union tax numbers of the products involved are 7304491000,7304499301,7304499309,7304499501,7304499509 and 7304499900. "
