Steel product stocks were increased in mid-September
According to the statistics of CISA, the daily output of crude steel was 1.989Mt in major steel enterprises in mid-September, up by 2.7% compared with that in the previous ten days. The total output of crude steel, pig iron, and steel products were 19.89Mt, 18.12Mt, and 19.32Mt respectively. By estimation, the daily output of crude steel in the whole country was 2.52Mt in the period, up by 2.2% compared with that in the same period of the previous year. During mid-September, the daily output of pig iron and steel products were approximately 2.19Mt, 3.64Mt respectively in the whole country.
The stocks of steel products in these steel enterprises amounted to 15.65Mt in mid-September, up by 0.68Mt.
