Chinese trade surplus was $91.02bn in August

According to the data from the Customs, Chinese trade surplus was $91.02bn in August. Total trade value was $4021.03bn from January to August. In August, the import value went up by 0.5% y-o-y and increased by 0.9% m-o-m to $217.63bn, while the export value went up by 8.7% y-o-y and increased by 2.7% m-o-m to $308.65bn. During January to August, the import value went up by 2.5% y-o-y to $1706.27bn, while the export value went up by 4.6% y-o-y to $2314.77bn.
